Well i want to thank everyone for all the info. And i know everything i asked is overkill. But that's who i am. I will do a 200 percent effort to be the best. I'm just that way. thanks again

While we're on the subject, is there really much to be gained by indexing the lifter bores on a small block Chevy? I thought they were pretty darn close to right-on from GM.

I'm no expert on chevys but I'm under the impression the exact opposite is true.

Lifter Bores, some are good, some are not so good, you will not know for sure, until you bolt the fixture on the block!
