Default Re: What Tire to run

Ray, shift 9300-9400 no air shifter yet cross finish line 9700-9800 falls back to converter obviously on shift. Only have maybe 8 runs on car mainly trying to get an idea of what converter I'll need as well as trans ratio, first gear is 2.45 I believe haven't had chance to try other trans yet. To be honest this auto trans took me e few runs to get used to shifting it, stick seemed easier, I actually used to shift my 5- speed set up at 9700-9800 however had more drop between gears. Not sure if I need to run engine higher between shifts or not as I don't really have a lot of info yet on this set up. Thanks Joe Sorry Ray just looked at my data logger shift rpm is correct but finish line is 9350 seems to be still pulling strong, 6.50 gear 101 roll tire, believe I need to go with less roll tire. Joe

Ray off topic do you run an even or odd fire engine? I have the stuff to do an even fire but man looking at the even fire crank scares me. Joe
