The IHRA Natioanl event at Epping NH and the Englishtown divisional fall on the same weekend!

Being that Englishtown is a pre entered field, that area still has enough racers to pack NED if they care to race.Out inthe Mid West it might be a problem though.

The Englishtown divisional race is not a pre-entry race......& they scheduled them on top of eachother last year to, BIG mistake!

I'm curious how they're going to pull off a 2 day national event at Budds Creek. I hope they aren't planning on sportsman getting 1 run and go racing, not for what it cost to enter a national event. Better plan on Monday as a vacation day instead of Friday I guess!

They will only need 2 days because unlike NHRA Sport Nationals they will not have pro mods to clean up after.

The way I read it the Budds Creek race is a traditional national event including pro's, not a sports national.

Was at MIR sunday testing (goofing off with all the nice weight IHRA had me add after Rockingham) anyway, was talking to Brian Starner from MIR as i think Royce was at the Banquet. He didnt even know about the two day event, but had said IHRA loses alot of money that weekend and now without nitro f/c they feel they can get it in with in two days. Remember a few years ago i think it was 2001 they qualified the sportsmen on Saturday and ran eliminations on Sunday and got it all done. Maybe we should all mention that they have a divisional there on friday for sportsmen. That would be fine with me. Just my thoughts.
