Thanks for the replies guys.
Hey Rory, ya I bought Pete's car and I'm going to re-do the suspension and brakes this winter and see what it will run. can't wait to get it out. I was going to get Alf's set up , but since it might be illegal , I'm gonna try some other stuff. Here's what else I plan on doing if anyone has any input it would be appreciated. urethane body bushings, QA1 stocker stars, del alum bushings, low friction ball joints, moroso front springs, solid lower and adjustable upper rear arms, rear bolt on arb, solid upper bushings in rear end housing, areospace front and rear brakes. I'm kinda on a budget, so Afco d/a's etc. are out for now.Are ball joint spacers allowed? are longer ball studs doing the same thing? what brand of bolt on arb would you reccomend. I'm also planning on using some moog rear springs with the same rate left and right , and let the arb even out the body on launch. Also, should I be re-locating the upper arms at the housing?

Since your on a budget , look into Calvert front shocks. Got mine from Alex Denysenko ( monymkrssla@AOL.COM ).
The Del-A-Lum bushings from Global West are nice , but a real pain to put in. I think I would see if they offer instalation if I was going to do them again. I used the softest Moroso spring and didn't have to do any cutting. Might as well put an airbag in the right rear now , you'll end up with one anyway. What rear end are you useing , 10 or 12 bolt ? I haven't tried relocating the upper arm yet , but plan on trying it and see if it makes any difference. Here's a website you can look around on, these guys know how to make a G body work with stock suspension. http://www.maliburacing.com/ Bud

Bud, I'm using a 12 bolt made to fit. Do you still need an air bag with a anti-roll bar? I've also got the softest moroso spring to install. I've been on maliburacing, thats where I saw Iceman's stuff. What kind of 60 ft times do you get?
Dave

Hey Shawn, how's it going. Pete had a 12 bolt modified by Alf with 10 bolt tubes, strange spool and axles and 536 gears. Did he run something else before? Dave
