Hey Venice, hockey sticks are alright, but I'll bet that you recommend that I don't bring my Chicago Blackhawks jersey, right? Go Hawks!

Jim

All the best for the season and 2009!,
Actually I cant condemn you for your Hawks me being a Leaf fan (Boston until Bobby Orr got traded). I was an odd sort (hard to believe right) all my firends in public school read the hockey news, I always had a Car Craft, Hot Rod,stuffed inside my school books.
I read every word in those books even the cheesy ads for 8 tracks and tee shirts. Then I discovered
Super Stock & Drag Illustrated, wow what a magazine! ahh nostalgia

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas

the passport will be required after 6-1-09.
comon sense at the booth is what is most important.
be clear and to the point, pay attention to the questions that are asked, AND DON'T GIVE ANY ATTITUDE.
been racing there for 20+ years and never had a problem.

Bud,

Get the passport. It will save you a lot of hassles. Had one for years as we cross back and forth all the time to head to NHRA Division 6 races.

As Venice and Sammy said, leave the attitude at home and answer all questions with please and thank you's.

Again on the way home or going, there are times best suited to cross to avoid the traffic and congestion. This year US Customs started x-raying the race car trailer just like they do the big trucks. Maybe that's why the race car glows in pictures shot at night! Hehe...

Enjoy,

Mike Ferstl

Yes,the passport will be required as of Mid-2009. Went to get some parts yesterday in Montana & the guy I was with was very politely told to do so soon. Don't try to hide anything especially guns & knives & take your sunglasses off when crossing. Make sure you have ALL your paperwork handy if you are importing anything. I had one item that happened to not have a packing slip & they did a "bit" of a search just to make sure we were OK. The whole ordeal took about an extra hour.
