Default Re: Need input on overlength issues

As Jeff said, all we want is to get from point a to b legally. In my meeting with the State Rep. we discussed permits and other ideas. I guess I should have mentioned that in my original post. I was not asking for special treatment as DPS donut guy said. Just make it easier for a non commercial vehicle to get down the road. I have no problem with buying a trip permit or a yearly permit. All regulations that I have been able to find only pertains to commercial vehicles. Since we cannot register as commercial then add something to the regulations that will give us and all DPS units some clear guidlines.

Also, Admin. let DPS guy post again. We haven't had any body to pick on since Munson doesn't post anymore.

Cool Re: Need input on overlength issues

Sorry Everyone, I did not intend to respond so poorly. I could not beleive how this person could have missed our intentions so badly. Anywho, I get an annual overlegnth permit every year down in Florida without being a CDL. It's 20 bucks. I am happy to comply, but when a person that our tax dollars go to becomes so petty, I am not real good at keeping my mouth shut or suger coating. Ya Think!
