Talking Re: S/SS combo @ BIR 2011

Mike
I am NOT going to egg your car
I would however; like to see you get a SS engine and race with the S/SS group.
You are a heck of a driver and would do well! And you could still bracket race it.
ANY WAY...Give me a call I'll get your numbers ready for you.
I am sorry about your other car and the fire that is not a good deal at all.

Seat time is king now days. Glen hope you dont egg my car at Brainerd for this and im also going to need some new numbers for the wagon as my Calais burnt up in fire.

Glen you can count me in if I get my engine done this spring if things go well. I'll have to get you to make me some new decals you probably don't remember but you did some for my wagon about ten years ago.

Smile Pro-rated payout at bir s/ss

PRO-RATED PAYOUT for LESS THAN 33 CAR COUNT
I think this is causing to much confusion
I'll get it all spelled out & re-post.

What is 'pool money'? Am I the only one that thinks real $$$ listed in the pro-rated payout would be better?

Last question...IF entering more than 1 class, are you charged x2 at the gate for entry?

Travis, it appears to me that no matter what BIR does with the payout, you probably will not like it. The pool money is the money that the racer will put into the "BOX". That is an optional deal if you want to participate. It appears to me that your car is much to costly to race at a little S/SS race like the ones we are trying to promote and I can see why you would want to race only at points meets and national events where you can win the big money. This is just my theory on this situation. Thanks

Joe...I'm just trying to get clairification. Which has been a main issue at BIR in the past. Knowing what exactly it is we are racing for...that's all.

I haven't heard of this 'pool money' before and how it works or how much it is. Why not just make the entry fee higher so it's accross the board? But whatever works...let's just pray to the racing gods for 33 + cars to show.

And yes, excuse me if I don't want to buzz a $30k super stock engine at 9,000 rpm for $375 to win...that's just me.

Update on Parking !! It's $ 30 dollars a weekend and $ 45. if you want Power.

Travis the Pool Money is extra money the racers put in, Look At Post # 34 This tells the full deal. Last weekend the division race at Bradonton Was $230.00 Car and One Crew, The Gatornationals Car only $305.00 and $ 85.00 crew. You will have to go 5 rounds to get even money back .

Kerby
Sunny FLA 78 this weekend at gainesville
