Congratulations to Austin Williams on a hard fought battle for the Stock Eliminator Win. I wish I could have been there. I was following it on DRC. Looked like some good racing all of yesterday and today. I would like to see the time slip on that final pass. Derek

The weather forecasters pulled the same "switcheroo" with this week's forecast that they did with the forecasts for the Division 4 opener in Houston. Kept raising the probablility of rain for Sunday until it was at 80 percent, then overnight dropped it back to 20 percent in the morning and none in the afternoon.
The moral of the story? Don't skip races just because the weather guessers say it might rain. |

Looking at the number of racers who stayed to play today, it looks like the forecasters spooked a lot of people into hitting the road last night. Gonna be a short day today.

I don't get it, how can you go to LA and leave early because it might rain. There is so much good food in the immediate area not to want to leave, and then there is a possibility of racing too, doesn't get much better than that.
If anyone is coming back through southwest Florida from LA, please pick me up 25 lbs of live crawdads and put them in a cooler with ice with the drain open. When you get here we will party, with festive drinks, scantily clad women, catchy tunes, beautiful gardens with butterflies, sweet smelling flowers and pure enjoyment. (must be 21 or older to participate) Thank you. Ron Ortiz U/SA Cajun Style

Festive drinks and scantily clad women might 'splain the CIC race results.
