I would be looking at the master cylinder. Sounds like it has a residual check valve in the port that the front brake line is plumbed to.

I had some issues also, i replaced with Mark Williams, end of storey!

Yeah,
Pretty well narrowed it down to either Lamb or Mark Williams. Lamb is actually a little cheaper than the Williams for my car. Terry Cain hchill@aye.net 3129
