Thumbs up Re: Jet Hot

Never read anything bad about Nitroplate. I think I would do business with them and end all the problems of waiting on money.

I wish more people would buy products that live up to a standard of quality, irregardless if they pay contingency
money or not.Support businesses that build or supply products you can rely on.

I pulled Jet Hot Decals off my cars years ago, will not deal with them anymore. We used Nitro Plate.

In answer to Dave Ficacci first----Jet Hot was the only coating company posting---they had paid in the past--every year we sit down and see who posting and use or buy their products so that we can get paid if we win.----Personally took our headers to the plant here in Pa. had them coated and paid for them had some class claims paid and then it stopped. Charlie can only do so much, we as users of their product have to do the rest. Either they pay or they don't. I'm hoping a lot of bad ink gets their attention. I'm sure they rely on people like us to buy their products. Most companies that we deal with are very prompt with their payments after we have done what they have asked of us. Not having a lot of money every year to work with we rely on contingency payments to help keep us going. That is why we support the companies who post. When we do we expect to get paid. Am I wrong in expecting this??

Question Re: Jet Hot

Just curious if you met their requirement of:

"Coating must be purchased within 48 months prior to event claimed."

you should call Nitroplate. Its run by racers, for racers. Their product is top notch and so is their service. They may not be posted with NHRA this year but you would probably have a better chance of getting contingency money from them than Jet NOT, regardless.

Tim & Bryan,
I too had trouble with Jet-Suck coating. I went through the contingency czar @ IHRA to get most of the $ due for our win in August '08. Jet-Suck never did pay. I posted my discontent on this forum and will continue to discredit them at every opportunity. Their decals are no longer on my car, and I tell everyone who has them not to bother filing for contingencies with them because THEY DON'T PAY!!!
