As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the JEGS.COM Cajun SportsNationals, the following changes have been made.

The horsepower rating for 09-10 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, entries with the 360 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 275 currently rated at 284, has been increased by fifteen horsepower, to 299 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

NHRA's 2011 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-second or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective March 22, 2011.

I still really don't think anybody "hates" these cars. I think all of them are cool! And so are most of the guys who run them. I just would like the cars better if they had a more realistic HP ratings on them! Jim

Oh and Jeff, I think you can about a hun out of her to run F.

Like I posted somewhere, come on in. The waters fine. I got a few to sell. It's easy. Just ask anyone with one. You know, Bob Dennis told me last year he was so glad we came along so people quit beating on his combinations. Another year or two, the new stuff will outnumber the old. There is already talk about a Hemi Shoot Out using the 5.7,6.1 and 6.4. If racers want us out, the ask NHRA to establish a 6.0, 6.5, and 7.0 stock class and a 5.5 SS class so we can move up. I know Ford and Mopar are in favor of this and all it needs is a little push from the racers. See. Easy deal. There is no telling what Ford has in the future, and Mopar has some more coming.

Sure they DID ! They heard all the input from the SRAC about the new classes wanted by the racers.
NHRA ignored the idea and told the SRAC S/SS will now run on a CIC system and the SRAC came back with the only option thus the new AHFS ! Where ya been ? lol

I was responding to Jeff's quote above, I know what happened.

At least give Jeff some credit for running hard enough to get HP. When I ran Houston a few weeks ago I watched alot of 1000' racing in stock.
