Ed,

No worries here.
The ones that were quick enough to get it, did not worry about it!
Those of us who have been doing it very long have heard all the jokes, and seen enough of the jokes too!

I have nothing but respect for those that chose to better themselves thru education. Gaining and using knowledge has helped mankind get where we are today. However posession of higher knowledge does not automatically make them an expert on all subjects. Knowledge and wisdom should be used in equal measures. To be honest I wish I had furthered my own education, as it would have certainly helped me even in my menial job.

Chris, 1320 posted he was an engineer. Somebody said something about how he thinks he knows more than anybody else. I mentioned he said he was an engineer. I heard from a couple that didn't appreciate it. I felt like they took it wrong. I just wanted to try to apologize to them.

Thanks Gary. These locals are tougher than I. Bet I would lose a few lbs if I lived here. Gets hot in Oklahoma, but don't have the humidity. 69% on that last pass.
This old coot was sweating like a pig.

I am an engineer for a US auto company. Engineers do not know everything including myself. A good engineer has sense enough to ask or research what he is looking for. I have run across many engineers who do not know the relationship of the parts they are responsible for with the rest of the car, and a lot of times it gets them in trouble having to do costly re-work.

I was lucky to have the luxury of training under old school engineers that were hands on guys that modified or repaired their parts as needed to get the necessary results they were after. Engineering is no where like that anymore. Just being book smart didn't cut it then and doesn't cut it now.

I always thought engineering and Drag racing went well with each other. My schooling is Engineering and Buisness. I never knew what I wanted to be in life(well besides a racer of some type).

People who think they know everything really annoy the heck out us who do. Just kidding.
