The AC Cobra is not a convertible, it is a roadster and that's how it is listed in the guide. Just so you understand, a roadster is an open body automobile.

Awesome! Do they have the aluminum body? I know it's available.
How about a 289 with 4 webers in regular SS? Is that even possible?

I got to see this car at NTR. It is a piece of art work. They have been in the guide for a long time and unlike the new Cobra Jets they came with VIN's and you could put a license plate on them. I think it adds more diversity to SS.

I like it, and if it fits the rule book....then good for him. I would walk past 50 new mustangs to look at it! (the 67-69 Shelby Mustangs are my favorite Fords) The AC Cobra guys out there will now be looking at Super/Stock a little. You gotta give it to the designer, builder and owner because it is cool!

I would not want to get stuck in the staging lanes during a downpour with that car,but we all know that it never rains at a drag race,so its all good.

X2, especially the Shelby part....Yo, Ken, are you reading this? I personally think Carey's S2000 and cars like the Cobra are good for class racing by adding diversity and drawing a fresh crowd.

And with the right motor it could be in SS/A or SS/AA. 90 inch wheelbase would be a test.

Didn't Ralph Nader have NHRA remove it from the guide? Pretty sure "unsafe at any speed" includes above 130.
