If the race is an NHRA National event or a Lucas Oil Series race, then the AHFS should be in effect. Without having some sort of HP system in place, the HP factors will never be corrected to where they should be.

I think it's great and about time. Now raise the quotas in stock and super stock to 250 cars each, lets make stock and super stock a performance based class again even if it's just for one national event a year!!!!

How about no. If your car is not fast enough, you don't get in. Keep the best 128. like always

NHRA even has a provision in the rule book for point distribution of fields over 129. See 2016 rule book - Points and Related Programs Section 3 page 3.

Absolute bulk**** .... So they just skip thier own rules ??? So the bogus *** fords get to win class at Indy with no repercussions .... NHRA has no integrity or intelligence .... They are just $$$$ whores
