Last night had to be a sign of how much Joe meant and touched people through all his years at Atco, NHRA Pro Stock / Super Gas & Maple Grove. As one racer put it, he was like a M&M, he had a hard shell but, once you got through to him he was a great guy. I made it to the funeral home at 5:30 since it's right down the street from where the train lets me off from work and it started at 6pm. I went in early and there was already a line at 5:40 and when I left at 6:45 the line stretched out of the funeral home, down the parking lot and around the back of the place and from what I heard it stayed like that till almost 10pm. I stood back on the steps and looked out just went "Wow"....what a show of support. RIP Joe!

So true Rob. I got there at 7:45 and didn't get through the line until well after 9pm. Definitely a huge showing of respect for Joe.
