Tops falling off the girls in the wet T shirt contest didn’t help either....Kudos to the farmer who made his field available for this get together....

This will be my 13th Indy overall and my 12th straight. Any true fan of class racing should experience Indy at least once!

Wow. I would have thought more than 1

But that's good to know if I get my block fixed and get it running a second under again

Along with their halter tops and the wet T Shirt contest. Last one about 1981 or so.

Did I miss something? Don't you need to enter Indy to run with that "great flowing" intake?

For sure 81. I think 82 as well. I remember a Strong Beer truck parked in the field and a long line of people in line for chicken and corn. Their were a couple of flat bed semi trailers for the band stage and wet t shirt contest. I recall Richard Schroeder (who was a very big guy) warning the crowd to keep their hands off the stage or he would step on them during the wet t shirt contest.

Now THAT was a blast. Bob Glidden and his family sat down on the ground next to us, Clarence Clemons and the E Street Band playing on stage...lots of good memories from that one. -Al
