Some of you guys are missing the point of the post. It's not where we should have gone or what other type of header coating or material it's they posted to pay if you won an event. No other company or stainless header co posted. We bought from them because they said, and still do advertise, you win we pay. Look on their website. How can companies make that statement and not do it? What can we do as racers and customers to stop this practice?

Tim, sad to say it's become an excepted way of doing things these days make all kinds of claims and promises then deliver squat. I've not heard one thing from Jet-hot nor am I going to bother contacting them, I'll just write it off to experience and have any other coatings performed elsewhere. I as you went with a posting company figuring support the companies that support drag racing. This line of thinking appears to be flawed, though it does make sense. At least I now know of a pair of stickers to remove. I've tried to make it a point to put the stickers on of the stuff I run regardless of a posted award figuring those companies may appreciate it, they made no claim to pay so what the heck. Now since Jet hot made a claim to pay it's only reasonable to expect payment. Joe

Tim you did all the right things and they basically have a breach of contract. Maybe you need to file a claim in small claims court. Some one needs to take these companys that list and dont pay to court.

Jet Hot's reputation has been in the tank for a few years now, mostly for the quality of their work and the shortening of their payout period.Support companies who deliver a quality product.

The only way you stop a company from this kind of practice of not paying contingencies is to "Not Use Their Product". Jet Hot has been for years at the top of the list for this type of business practice. They get free advertising and still you get no contingencies. When nobody runs their sticker they will either get the message or they never really cared in the first place.

The NHRA will never do anything about this company because they get their money from them up front and after that the racer is on their own. Expect no support from them.

Exactly Ed, their supposed "lifetime" coating was pitting after 3 seasons, and they took almost a full year to pay me.....not once, but each of the times I qualified for contingency. Its just unacceptable.

They owe NHRA big money for advertising ...this from a conversation with NHRA rep.

Just got a call from Ron Bradshaw senior vice pres. of sales and marketing of Jet Hot in corp.hq North Carolina, Seems Ron is the new man in house and is committed to cleaning up the non payments of contingency claims. I will post his email and phone# for anyone who feels they have a claim with Jet Hot and he has given me his word that all legit claims will be paid. As we all know there has been a failure of payments in the past and Mr. Bradshaw contends that will not happen again. He does realise, however, that the mess they have now needs cleaned up before they can move forward. He told me he welcomes your calls and emails so take him up on his promise to do this right.
Email-----rbradshaw@ncoat.com---------800-447-2000---Ron Bradshaw VP sales&marketing
Mr. Bradshaw seems to be sincere and committed in fixing this problem.
