Billy, I have to disagree on which motors are the problems. Maybe today the Factory stuff is the problem but if the past history is any indication then sooner of later a grocery getter motor will be identified that has a 4 barrel, good heads and is from the factory at 175 hp. You know like the Injected 305, injected 350, Truck 454, Oval ports etc to just point out chevy I know about. Someone else will have to indicate the Ford or Chrysler stuff. Some stuff just hasnt been tried yet and shouldnt. LIMIT the combinations which LIMITS the factoring night mares....

I don't see anything wrong with the injected 305s and 350s. All that we're seeing there is smart people spending the time(and$$$) and picking up these combos. I guess that you're talking about the truck head on a pass. car thing and I don't see anything wrong with that. There's 2 casting #s listed and one is much worse than the other. It should have a different HP factor. Limiting the combos just drives up the cost, drives out the little guy and stifles innovation and ingenuity!
