I think Tru-Start should be implemented, allowing for more focus on the many other disadvantages of slower cars, such as the first opportunity to break, hit the wall, hit the tree (literally), cross the center line while looking over one's shoulder, etc. etc.....(sarcasm acknowledged).

Hey Mickey, I know of a guy that did get hit by a deer, me. I was driving cross country though.
My new excuse will be that the guy in the tower who can manipulate the finish line sensors, is good friends with the person I was running against. Ron Ortiz U/SA it's who you know.

Oh no Mickey, we didn't sell deer or game jerky. Would never do something like that. But we did have venison surprise for the racer cookout for that one race.
Ron Ortiz U/SA Oh dear.

hi, I read about how a slower car has no advantage or the faster car has the advantage. depends on reaction times!!!! well, just to stir the pot, so to speak, get rid of reaction times, this way everyone has same disadvantage. either slow or faster. we use to race with out them before. this way be no excuses!!

[quote=Alan Freese;520158]I don't post on here very often but do a lot of reading. I find this topic almost mirroring our last election. People know the terms and rules of the deal going in and then want to piss and moan when it don't go there way. I don't give a **** either way as some have previously stated that if you're red you don't deserve to win. Here's a novel idea, don't red light and let the pigeon next to you do it so there is no argument. I find it ironic that the people that do most of the winning do the least of the talking. I believe that IF you changed this rule, the same people will continue to win and the same will continue to lose. What would be the new excuse...I redlit first but so did the other guy but mine was worse so I still lost. If you politicians spent as much time on your practice tree as you do your keyboard you might actually surprise yourself. Please find something constructive to do with your time as all of the self legislating is killing this sport and driving people away. Yeah, I need lots of help so don't bother. dave this is stk and ssk not bracket
