To me this is history with the release of this car.
Over top for sure. It has everything that shouldn't be in a production car. Also carries the 6/6000 powertrain warranty, even when it is in 100 octane mode. FCA has out done itself. I wonder, was it like this when the '68 HEMI Dart/Barracuda was released? |

That is pretty cool. Drag Radials, Trans Brake and Line Lock with 6/60 warranty. Why didn't they have these when I worked for Chrysler? I thought it was cool to drive one of the first Vipers....snooze!

Hard core Chevy guy here... I have to say this the first time I have ever thought about buying a Fiat!
![]() What a cool car. They did a super job pushing the envelope. With only 3000 cars for North America my guess is this will be every bit 100k to own one. I really hope Chevy and Ford answer Dodge's shots fired but I don't see it happening.

I know a young Chrysler engineer that has several 1/4 mile passes in one of the pre production Demons!

It most certainly is an amazing car the likes of which we might not see again if the insurance industry decides that they want nothing to do with it.

NHRA/SFI must have know about this project with last year's implementation of 25.6 sfi specification. All prior specs have a 3600# max but 25.6 is 5000#

That NHRA letter is from November and they are just releasing it now, five months later?
3000 is a lot, anyone know how that compared to the numbers of new GT350 Mustangs or ZL1 Camaros? |
