Well here's another one bud, I guess the deep pocket "buy-a-rocket" crowd has no problem throwing guys like Thomas, Couris, Greene, probably Armstrong et al under the bus....guys that have poured their heart and soul into heritage muscle cars, the backbone of class racing...what arrogance....we're watching 'em hang it up....so all youse "suddenly fast guys" can just race yourselves....Dvorak had it pegged years ago, you guys ain't heros, just in the wrong class....and no chest beating will convince anybody that really knows....so line up all them refrigerator white 'stangs and fat MoPars and tell yourselves your fast.....90% negative.....and your surprised?

I have nothing against the new cars as long as they are factored correctly. Nhra has thrown all of the old combinations under the bus and whatever they get, they most certainly deserve. The new cars cover from AA-M/stock, if my calculations are correct. When these guys start lining up against cars that have them covered by 4 tenths to a second, how long do you think they will spend the money to race? Maybe nhra wants this....I certainly don't know. You guys go out and go fast with a car that shouldn't be in the classification you are running, and you think you have done something. While I could join you in the new car farce, I have principles. I would never do this to the friends and competitors that I have made over the years. I didn't expect the manufacturers to have principles, because they only want to sell a car. However, I did expect the sanctioning body to have enough principle to provide a reasonably close factor for heads up races. Again, I do not know what they want, but I certainly hope they get what they deserve. Maybe someday we'll get the chance to discuss 'assclowns' and principles.

U are right Charley the same old no race posers on here making negative comments! Maybe they should get off the keyboard, spend some money on their old outdated junk and try to actually go racing! There is alot of racing going on in Florida rite now and one of the biggest blowhards on here (Chad Rhodes) hasnt been to one yet! Hmmmmmm!? Still must be testing!? What a dreamer!

Arnold you have been around along time, how are these new cars any different then past under factored combos.
1968 hemi cars kicking Everyone's ***** in the late 60's and early 70's. The late 70's and 80's under factored olds combs (with parts they never made). The mid 90's LT1 rated at 275hp to start now well over 340hp The 2002 LS1 rated at 325 to start now almost 370hp All these combos were bogus HP to start. This is not something new. You guys act like it’s the end of the world. I ask you all this one question. What form of motorsports is old technology allowed to stay competitive? And the part about old combos being thrown under the bus give me a break. Three of the top five qualifiers at this weeks Fla PTS race were combos from 1969 and older. Chad just so you know the SCJ can never be taken out of SS/AA they are hear to stay. Good luck with your IHRA racing. If it works for you that great. But be prepard for anything.

I thought a racer of your high caliber and knowledge would take advantage of 3 pts meets and 1 nat event in his home state!? But these are NHRA events(A leauge) and you are going to race IHRA(B leauge). Correct me if im wrong but hasnt their already been 1 IHRA nat and 1 pts meet in your home state this year already? And your going to Baton Rouge? Oh well! U still wont be able to outrun anybody or win a round in eliminator so i guess it really doesnt matter anyway! Now does it!!!??? See ya at the gators(as a spectator no less) u have to have grading points to come play with the big boys and enter a NHRA nat!But im sure u already know this! Since ur the ALL KNOWING SMART GUY on here!
