Hate to keep bugging but....Can I use the E7 heads on a 215/240? (even if I'm down on flow/power from the P head)

The reason I ask is, I'm in tight with a bunch of mustang street racers who are giving away E7's but want $800 for P heads. They are all running canfields with pro chargers etc. The P heads they have they are selling to guys who can't afford Alum aftermarket heads.
I told them I want P heads, but they think I'm crazy. (heads up racers) No way I'm telling them I "HAVE" to use P heads as the price will go to $1000 probably!

(picked up a sumped tank and a free roller 5.0 though)

I think you had better find some new Mustang street racers to get tight with.

GT-40P heads are a dime a dozen.

All over Ebay for $75 each and up.

Saw a guy selling explorer parts on kijiji (local buy/sell) Asked if he had P heads, he said had a set but sold them, might have a second set, how much you offering? I said $100 ea and I want a pair.
Hasn't even responded.

E-bay is great for price but shipping 75lb's of iron from the US to Canada is a little rediculous and $$$.

Still looking......

OK, looked on e-bay and carparts.com
In Eastern Canada there were only a few sets and they were $150-175 a piece. Called this guy back and he finally agreed to $200 a piece.
So, $400 for heads (good engine was running and took them off for me) I picked up a single plane "pro//stock" intake and I have the roller 302 short block.

Need cam, carb (I'll call when I'm ready Alex, thanks) rods and pistons...a ways to go but I'm slowly creeping forward! LOL!

Hard part is hiding the spending from the wife! LOL!
