MikeMoller,go to guide for 1986 truck engine blueprints specifications, looks like it was approved on 4-19-11 in yellow 350 165hp. Tom

The 350 in the guide is a dish piston low compression motor not a flat top motor.

FrankB, same piston as my 1978 malibu wagon 287 hp if i raced my wagon with a 350 motor. Tom

The truck motor is a 8.2 to 1 motor the car motor is 10.3 to 1 . The deck height is different on the 2 motors.
