I have a S/G roadster, what class would you suggest? If you are concerned about throttle stops and high MPH, then maybe you should stick to bracket racing.

Ryan, I think you should run super gas. that is the class that I run in and I really don't care if you are going 150 or 180. I will do my best to win the round. My motors are small compared to others, probably the smallest cubic inch in the class at the event. The car counts in the midwest seem to me to be pretty good in the super classes. I don't understand why you want to change the indexes to something like 9.0. I will be out. I will not run sst because of the minimum weight and the .5 tree. I love to race, and racing the high mph cars is tough to do. But if they lower the index to 9.0 or 8.9 for super gas, I am going to have to sit out. Bottom line I love to race, but the CAT cars, are wanting to change the index, and I don't want to see that happen.

No weight limit in sst.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thinking
no t-stops
mile per hour rules in all class's
no burnonts ( no smoke got to go green )
no trees, women in bikinis with flags
no finish line, he who has the biggest gun wins

really though no weight limit in sst......................

RUM TO ALL WINNERS

Thanks Maverick but I already race Super Gas. I was asking Lucky Dog this question. He suggested if we didn't like the idea of speed limits to race a faster class. My point was that with my combination there is no other class that I can run. Therefore, if the rules are changed then I will have to sell my stuff and purchase something different.

Before we slit our wrists.....lol. Let's see what the results are.....I don't know how it's going but I bet super gas and street shows a majority that don't want a change....I'm just guessing.....but I bet super comp votes for 8.50.......it will be interesting to see what the vote is....
Everybody has their opinion of how it should be.....lets hope we get enough votes to see ......I saw a post from a sg racer that said he didn't vote for whatever reason.....I think everybody should voice their opinion....remember it's still just a fact finding mission.....

x2, I think the Super Comp guys are the only ones who would be willing to change the index. Super Street might do away with the Scotty rule, though.

Just curious why I have seen so many folks wanting to do away with ot lower the S/ST weight limits? I have a tube chassis car but it is not lite at all. It was a Pro Street car originally and with no ballast is 100lbs over weight.

As fot he speed limits, again why? It's not like the fastest cars in the various classes are dominating the competition. I do agree there have been a number of accidents this past year from what appears to be accessive use of the brake pedal but why punish everyone for a few peoples mistakes? Why not address that issue on an individual basis with the folks who are doing it?
