Qjet problem!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a hesitation bobble at the top of first gear. I still have the power valve and rods in the carb. Would taking them out help the problem? What are the pros and cons of taking it out be? Thanks Lyn

first of all, what kind and size fuel pump and size fuel line are u running?

Check the air flap on the secondary. it could be open to far causing a lean pop. should measure 1.380 from the choke horn. also close in around the secondary metering rod holes in the gasket with electrical tape. I also run a 90 degree sparlk plug boot on the main vent tube to stop any splash. Check to make sure that your fuel flow at the carb is a gallon in about 20 seconds.
