HAVE A SET OF RANCHO 9000 SHOCK FOR THE REAR OF MY CAR AND WAS WONDERING WHERE TO START WITH THE SETTINGS ON THEM. ANY INPUT WOULD BE HELP FULL. THE ADJUSTMENT RANGE IS FROM 1 TO 9 ON THE DIAL . THANKS JOE B.

Joe if I were you I would start on setting number 5 as this will be your middle of the road setting. From there you can tune up or down depending on your cars requirements. Most cars tend to like the middle (50/50) setting. Testing will tell.......... good luck!

Hey wait a minute, i have rancho 9000 shocks and my adjuster is 1-5. Are those brand new? I have had mine for 5 yrs.

I bought my Rancho 9000's new in 2003 from Calvert and shortly after that Rancho changed the 9000's from the 5 to the 9 step adjustments. wprater |

Thanks Will, How much does the valving adjustment change the rebound? Is it necessary these days to have double adj shocks all the way around?
