Never seen a 69 Camaro in SS/A. What combo is that? Just curious

Would have to be a ZL-1 (427-430, all aluminum), I think. There are a couple of ZL-1 cars around.

Yea, they are really "B" cars but with the rule of moving up or down a class, many of them moved up to "A" this year and last year. There's one in Div 3

Heintz Bros in NC have one. They were at the Dutch last fall. Have a couple words written on the rear of the car something in reference to running a 'Chivy' in a Hemi class.

After morning coffee, my brain is starting to work.

The car at the Dutch may have been from Orlando. I believe Carl Weinsinger. (sp?)

Mike Heintz also has a red 69 I believe is a ZL-1 from NC. Haven't seen these cars for a few years.
Have to rely on memory exacty which engine combos they run.

Umm...Red 69 Super Stock Camaros with a big block and a stick. Is there anymore of these cars out there????

I'm pretty sure Mike bought the car from Carl last year. It's the same one he used to drive at the winter races down here. Jim

I don't get to race near as much as I would like because of this 'farming' occupation, but years ago I would venture to Orlando and then Mongomery in the late fall after the work was done. Heintz Camaro and Dickie Olgles stick Corvette were some of my favorites. It was nice to see some new faces and cars. Throw in some entertainment from Bob Reed and you had yourself great weekend!

I wish one of the tracks down south would have a divisional or national open late in the year. I need a vacation.

Here's a picture of Mike's Camaro taken by James Massey at last years Dutch Classic.

Now I know why I was confused. The Orlando logo on the quarter made me think of Carl's car and the Heintz logo on the fender made me think it was Mike's car.
