Question ihra classification guide

Were can I get a copy of the IHRA stock car classification guide.Is there a web site I can go to.

They use the NHRA classifications. Refer to the nhra web site. If its a crate motor class your looking for have your IHRA rule book handy for clarification on figuring the proper classes.

Does IHRA use the NHRA guide verbatim? In other words, can a car have a lower factor than in NHRA?
Can a car that runs D, E and F in NHRA , be in G with a lower factor?

If a lower IHRA HP factor allows it, then yes.

Yes, IHRA and NHRA factors are sometimes different. My combo is 241HP in IHRA and 249 HP in NHRA. If you are unsure call your division tech director.

Yes sometimes IHRA has a lower Hp...my 307olds is 213 Hp NHRA 210Hp IHRA. I also know that the 67-68 camaros with a 327/275 are @ 270 not 274 like NHRA.
