Ok, I *know* I've seen this in Jegs or Summit, but now I can't find it...I'm talking about the portable blower (fan) that you set in front of the car and it blows air up through the radiator & core support...seems to me like the unit was blue colored?
Anyway, what's this little gem called??

I think I know what you are talking about - they are called Air Movers. You actually might get a better price buying one through a restaurant supply store or even Sams Club - I think I saw some there once. They are made to blow air at a high rate to quick dry floors that are wet. I have seen them in a few trailers over the years. We just use a small none-pedastal fan we set near the intake after a run to shock the temp down a bit. Beth

Have a good friend in the home a/c unit repair business. He will have a home blower unit from a central a.c unit for you. got one I use in my garage, put a 3 speed switch on it, works pretty good. Havn't tried to use it for the car yet.

So, does anyone here actually *use* one of these? Looking at the pictures, I'm wondering if it sits too high to blow up from the bottom, yet too low to blow through the grill? Do I just need to stick to the old "box fan laying on the core support" technique?
Thanks!

Does NHRA require a supplemental insurance policy and duct work that exits above the trailer for those things?
