Hi all
Did anyone else attend the classic this last weekend? I went again because its possibly the most entertaining thing in motorsports. Say what you want about a freak show... its damn funny to see some of heroics involved in risking your car to be an entertainer. There were three very notables in the running. Jason Carrs white Mustang, blew the crowd away in the first session, with a 400 foot wheelstand that netted a blow over when the high winds hit him! Winds were blowing in excess of 40 MPH, and the guy was on the back bumper. He suffered day ending damages, but most agreed he couldn't be beat. A white Dodge Demon came out of Missou, and did an equally shocking 350 foot plus wheelstand, and landed it with apparent ease. I believe he won the longest award, and was really impressive. More impressive was they were hooking it up with leaves all over a cold track. It was very chilling to be in that wind. A really rough Chevette came in from Canada, and did the funniest wheelstand I ever have ever seen. The Canadian flipped it completely over in 100 feet, and knocked himself out cold! He ended up on the roof, after a very rough looking ride.
