Default Need Feedback on Precision Performance Shifter

I`m in the late stages of having a new car built. My chassis builder has recommended using a Precision Performance Shifter. I`ve only used the Turbo Action unit and am not at all familiar with the P.P. shifter. I`ve emailed P.P. twice to get technical data but there hasn`t been a response. If anyone out there can provide feedback (good or bad) I would appreciate it.

probably the finest shifter ever made!!!!! Just about every Comp car and many of the SERIOUS stock and Super stock racers use them although every racer has his favorite. If properly adjusted you will never miss a shift and will have years od flawless service--JMHO Comp 387

387 is giving you good feedback. I liked Turbo Action in my Stocker but the Precision Performance unit in my Super Stocker would be difficult to beat, especially if you use air-assist. One-hand operation, positive detents, heavy-duty cable, decent price. I would say "fool-proof" but every time I say that, along comes a better fool!

Chuck , FED387,

Thank you both for the prompt responses.

The plan was to go with air assist because of the anticipated violent launches with most SS/AH cars.

I'm pretty much sold now.

Is there anyone else out there who can provide feedback on this question?

Thanks/Regards,
Al

Carl Rossler told me that is what I needed. I'm glad I listened. Very nice piece.
