Bristol 1993. Mike Boyles didn't do smokey burnouts but that thing sure hooked.
Turn up the volumn, he's gotta be turning 11,000 when he leaves on this one. Wayne. http://s276.photobucket.com/albums/k...EBROWN1993.flv |

Thanks
I've got bristol 1990 on vhs that wore out.Mike told me years ago he left 10.5-11 thousand he said it was overwound to kill power to keep wheelies down on launch, that explained why he always wheelied higher in second gear than first gear. Remember seeing him try 9800 chip when 6AL were new I think that was highest chip then?was about 1988@ Clay City when he left on 9800 chip it stood up as high as wheelie bars would let it go,he got back to the van the chip came out.Does Mike use rev limiter now?I haven't got to see him run since I was at Farmington in 1999. Mike Taylor 3601 P.S, I thought I heard announcer say Louisville,Ky? about camaro don't recognize car though. Last edited by Mike Taylor 3601; 01-06-2009 at 07:06 PM. |
