In reading Greg Hill's post elsewhere it seems to me that it would take a great deal of time and money to start up a new organization. Since most of us on here aren't stinking rich, alternatives can be looked at. Why not use the existing S/SS organizations as well as other start up series as a start. They can use whatever classes ect. they want and at the end of the season have a National Event type race to detirmine a , if you will ,World Champion. Only the winners of the series would be eligable for the world Champion Race. Also at this race you could have other eliminatiors such as:
Flat out Eliminator - For you guys that race for the satisfaction of seeing how fast under the index you can run. Fastest car/truck should win.
Stock/SuperStock - The regular type of races that most associations run.
Nostalgia S/SS - index style as in the NMCA for cars 1971 and older , run rules similar to the NSCA classes for the Nostalgia eliminators including their Nostalgia Muscle Car class
I'm sure there could be other eliminators added but the focus should be fun and of course feeding our egos.
