Brodix BB-2 Heads for Sale:
Heads are complete with
• Valves
• Guides
• Rocker Arm studs
• K-Motion K-950 springs - Dual 1.55 H-11 tool steel springs for Solid Roller cam, 245 seat @2.0 inches (currently set at 2.05 inches with a seat pressure of 220 lbs. allowing cams with lift up to .750 lift). 690 lbs open pressure, coil bind is 1.150.
I have owned heads since new, heads have never been damaged or repaired, all the bolt holes are intact and not been repaired/heli-coiled. With the exception of the upgraded springs the heads are totally stock and as they come from Brodix. Here is what Brodix has to say about them:
The BB-2 heads work well with a heavy car and smaller engine (427-509 cu in). The BB-2 has a 305 cc intake port and flows 320 cfm;. The combustion chambers are 119 cc and are properly shaped for use with either methanol or gasoline, preventing detonation.
The bottom line is that our customers can now buy the most accurate, best flowing out-of-the-box cylinder heads available at the best price. These cylinder heads accept all standard pistons, intake manifolds, and rocker arms. The exhaust ports are raised .600 higher than stock, and the valve cover rails are now raised to assure no oil leakage.
