yet another racer passes

My buddy Dale Mineer passed away over the weekend from heart failure. Dale was a longtime superstock racer and the proud, original owner of the 1965 A990 Dodge know as the "Miss Coronet". Dale was a Hemi guy all the way. I had the pleasure of spending many days and nights working with Dale on the car, and spending time with him and his wife Joann. Dale will be missed by many. I believe the arrangements are visiting hours tonight from 6 to 8 and the funeral is tomorrow at 11:00am at Barbour Funeral Home in Tollesboro, KY.

Rest in Peace Dale. We always enjoyed seeing you and the car at our early racing events.
The Butlers..
Dale had one of the early camper truck combos. Car sat on back with camper at back of cab.

Dale was such a great guy, always came by and chatted with me, loved it when you got a bunch of local hemi guys together at trails doing a bull session.

RIP Dale, you was one of the good guys of drag racing!

I met Dale at Milan a few years ago. What a swell guy. We will miss you.
