Sorry about being so late getting the word out, but Div. 2 S/ST racer Reuben "Buffy" Shiflett passed away Saturday Feb. 14, 2009 after an extended illness.
A memorial service in planned for Wednesday Feb. 18, 2009 from 6 P.M.- 8 P.M. at Hodges Funeral Home 36327 S.R. 54 Zephyrhills, Fl. 33541. Everyone please keep Buffy's wife Brenda, and his daughters Alicia, Stella, and Carla in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks

Very Sad news indeed. Buffy was a sweetheart. Ed and I have known him since our bracket racing days at Gainesville. Buffy had the craziest sense of humor, he was a blast to be around. I never saw him without a big grin on his face. He will be greatly missed and remembered always.
