Default More in line

Here's one that I think is more in line of what we should be discussing. Who freshened their stuff this winter? Any body make any improvements? Any one bend the Dyno needle? Do you think you're gonna run faster? Ect. Just seems more constructive, or maybe we can tell each other some lies, suit yourself.I really like to hear what the other racers are doing and trying. Joe

My business slowed down so much at the end of the year, I just checked the bearings, fixed a leaking cylinder head, checked the valve springs, and put it back together. Had intended bore it to .060" over and to put a lighter rotating assy in it. Now I'm busy as normal for this time of the year, and no time to update it. I'm happy to be busy again, but wish I had stepped it up when I had time.

Always seems to be the case with me too, if i've got the time I don't have the money, and vice versa. Did freshen the old turd rods rings and bearings.I am going to try a set of radials this year to see what all the hoopla is about.Joe I'm sorry Ed what business are you in?

For my Cuda I've had Parsons & Myers build a new engine to run Stock instead of Pure Stock. I'm waiting for a while to install it since I found out my carb lost me almost 50 HP when we dyno'd the new engine. Had other carbs I bought from Tim Hall and made better power than P&M's carb. Now I want to run that carb on my old motor to see how much it helps. Ran on 1/8 mile this past weekend on my Pure Stock motor and picked up over a tenth. Anxious to see 1/4 mile numbers. The Avenger Crate Motor car will get a new trans and converter combo from Dynamic and new heads from Tim Sloan. The heads on the Avenger were pretty much stock so the new heads should help alot.
