Ed Alessi Sr just put his son's t/d 632 in his Catalina and is running is s/g. The best way to slow down that much power is with a 2 stage stop which has 2 air cylinders and controls the primarys and secondaries sep. CBS Jr. uses this setup in his 200mph s/st car.

With that much suds why not Top Sportsman ???? I guess I would ask myself why I need 1100 hp to go 9.90...and all of the maintainance and drivetrain to handle it.. Did you hit the lotto ? Hows the front half coming ?

1100 hp at 2800lbs will go 7.93@173
1100 hp at 2400lbs will go 7.60@182 This is according to my Moroso Power Speed Calculator pt# 89650 I'd rather be 2400lbs.

1100 HP for S/G is not to much ,,,(I have to agree wit Jr. on this one ) ,,,yea it is a little harder to dial and you are on the stop a little longer but once you get your combanation all sorted out ,Chasing is way better than being Chased ,,,,, Trust me on that one !!
