Default "IHRA Nitro Jam Wants Your Opinion" e-mail

I just got an e-mail entitled "IHRA Nitro Jam Wants Your Opinion". None of the links in the e-mail point to the web addresses indicated by the text, which is something phishing e-mails often do. I've got a note into Jeff Lee at IHRA to find out if the e-mail is legit...

I got one too, Mike. I will wait to do anything until you find something out from Jeff. Thanks for the heads up!

Alex just told me he did this survery yesterday. Questions seemed legit, asking about tickets prices, how often you attend events, etc.

I think it's okay... I got one of their regular newsletters later last night, and the links are set up the same way. Kneejerk reaction, I guess, based on the TONS of junk mail I get (like requests to update my bank account, through banks that I don't even know of) and this one didn't have any of the normal Feld markings or graphics. The thing that really threw me was having a link spelled out with the surveymonkey.com/blahblahblah full address, but when you put your mouse over it, it pointed to some link.p0.com... Somebody on DRR looked it up, and p0.com is registered to Feld. Must be used for tracking, but I really don't like it when a link isn't what it says it is. I'm pretty trigger-happy on the delete button.

Mike, Beth and group,

I received the same survey yesterday and filled it out. Normally it would end up in the trash file.

The survey was more geared to the spectator than a racer. It asked a lot of questions regarding what you do in your spare time i.e bowling, dancing, movies etc and was very focused on your kids.

It appears Feld wants to know what you do with your disposable income. Pure marketing strategy!

Heard back from Jeff Lee at IHRA -- it's legit.

I'm curious what transpired between IHRA and the new Dalllas Raceway in Crandall,TEXAS. I see the IHRA logo is no longer on the Dallas Raceway web page....??

I just pulled up the website and saw the IHRA logo displayed in the upper right corner of the home page. The pro-am race is also still on their schedule. However, I have heard the same "rumor" recently.

Is the IHRA going to be holding events next year? Just curious. Crazy rumor floating around about that.
