I thought I give you a little update on the Portland race.
We arrived here Thursday a.m. and they let us come in and park. I have to say this is one of the nicest facilities we've been at in awhile. There's lots of pavement in the pits and guess what ? We get to park on it. It is very clean and seems pretty organized so far.

There is a moderate turnout of Stk/SS cars but I haven't seen everybody yet. We'll do a count when we go up for our first hit.

So far I've seen Bowdish, Hanby, Rastad, Thompson, Edgeworth, D.Kost, & Bloom to name a few. Mark Faul pulled in last night and dropped by for a few pops, dinner and some laughs. We told lots of stories - some of them true!

There were 17 cars in Q1. Bill Edgeworth is on the pole with his 77 Firebird at -.873.

We have a good barometer @ 30.08 an the DA was 857' on our first hit.

I'll try to post some results later. I don't think DRC is posting this event.
