Wow,Bob,,,Don't know where you found that,,but it was way too cool!! No mention of who now owns the car,,,could it be possible that Larry has hung on to it all these years? That would be really neat.

Any guesses on a "public auction" collector car value for this?..........over 100K (assume so)......over 200 (maybe)........I like it a lot.

How about Buckshot II...there was one....and he won two WCS races in a row with it if I remember right. I raced the same car and class so I was well aware of Larry's exploits with his. He was a very good driver and his cars were fast.....

Bob did Jenkins build his engines? I remember them being together as a prostock team in the early 70's. I was wondering if that was how they connected.

You're right Rich. Dad bought that car from him in the early 70's. It was a 68 SS Nova. Tom Sheehan had posted some pics of it at Pittsburgh.

I don't think Larry had Jenkins engines in his stockers. From what I always read they teamed up from Jenkins seeing how well Larry drove. Larry told me a little about how he ran his car one night at the Grove and he was running a tenth under our record. Mostly less gear in the rear and maybe the trans. and I do recall he had some real long collectors on it....It was definately working as I saw him running 12. teens and I think that was the WCS race that he won....I believe he also won up at Cayuga at the next race...

Nope, My pop did...Roger Sinistri. They were together for a bunch of years before Larry hooked up w/ Jenkins. They won the 68 national championship together....
