Maybe, if they had less classes and more heads-up runs. How about 16 car qualified heads-up races?

Gezzzzzzzzzzzz.....and you guys bitch about to many classes in IHRA. If its anything like the old AHRA wait until you get a look at all of the lawn mower and go kart classes......LOL. Slicks hanging out beyond the fender, mail boxes for hood scoops, "Fred Flintstone" cars that have no floors because they rusted away years ago, and almost every 283 was at least 350 to 400 inches. Bracket racing at its best.

One of the coolest class shootouts of recent times was the U/SA shootout that they had a few years ago. I think it got more enthusiastic posts than anything else I have seen on the class racing sites. Unlike this thread that already has it's first negative posts!

Jack if they ran a 16 car format do you think you could make a short field like that today?Look at the Mustangs,ABC camaros etc.The field would fill up in a New York minute.I don't think my post was negative,just practical logic.
