I see the SS/AH index is now 9.60 on NHRA.com under the index list

Lowered the index a tenth and a half, left the HP the same. This class is not for the light hearted ...

put a hemi in yours Chuck. see what you can do on a 9" tire.

Chris, I actually built a 69 Barracuda with a Hemi, 9 to 1, made 550 HP, I put 12.5 Hoosier Pro Street radials on it with a 3.55 gear, you can't go anywhere without lighting up the tires ... fun to drive ...
P.S. my wallet is 'empty' lol

I hope they continue to leave the weight alone at least until someone breaks into the 7's.

I agree! It would defeat the purpose to do it any other way
