J, I would put some Santhuff front coil springs on.

A buddy of mine is using Santhuff 180lb springs in his all steel,battery up front,big block car. It sits kinda low with a 1900lb front end weight. I'd think 180-200lb spring would work fine. Call Ron at Santhuff. www.santhuffshocks.com
