MASGA Results from Maple Grove

Hi All,
Well once again mother nature put a quick end to our fun on Sunday as a storm front moved in about 12:00 and ended racing for the day on Sunday. On Saturday we were able to get 2 races complete as we finished up the final from the rain delayed Atco race from April 14th. Rip Shaw knocked off Iggie Boicesco to take home the victory in that race. The June 2nd race at Maple Grove came down to Darlene Staub and Pete "Lucky" Luciano in the final. Lucky dove in at the start and triggered the red light handing the win to Darlene. So after 2 races in the MASGA series Darlene Staub has a 11 point lead over Rip Shaw in 2nd and Iggie Boicesco in 3rd. Remember MASGA only counts 6 out of 10 races so anyone still looking to join still has a good shot at gaining points towards winning the championship. The next race is July 14th & 15th at Cecil County Dragway. Hope to see everyone there.
