Default Which Intake Manifold?

I am still in the planning stage of my SS/JA project. 69 Dodge Dart Swinger (340 w/single 4bbl). The NHRA rule book is not clear. What does " same configuration as original for Carb used" mean?

What units are you having success with?

Thanks
Bob

Default Re: Which Intake Manifold?

It pretty much means the carb needs to be located about where it is originally, ie centered over the engine and pointed in the same direction. High as you want it. Can be cast or fabricated. If you like heads up pairings, SS/JA will make you happy.
