Old Bridge Township Raceway Park has issued a release concerning cooking and the use of tents for Pro teams at the NHRA SuperNationals June 21-24.

The Bureau of Fire Prevention has mandated that all cooking operations and most tents must have a permit. The Bureau of Fire Prevention in Old Bridge, N.J., is adamant that this rule is adhered to and will strictly enforce this mandate. If a race team does not have a tent/cooking permit they will not be allowed to use them under any circumstances.

The permit specifically states that it is for those using commercial equipment for cooking, and the tent/awning is at least 30'x30' in area.

so unless you have that setup, flame on. The permit fee is $35

This was also in effect last year. As Steve stated, basically comercial type grills and I heard last year for gatherings of 20+ people.
Looks like we'll be "roaming" the pits - not "gathering"
