Default Olds Cutlass G=Body Question

I am building a 1984 Olds Cutlass to run in IHRA Stock/Gt Class with a Chevrolet 396/325 combo. This might be a dumb question, for anybody out there who runs a GM G-Body, will I have a hood clearance problem with the BBC?, even with the stock intake which is like any aftermarket dual plane high rise. This is the motor out my 1968 Impala which I ran in I/S a few years back. Plenty of clearance in that car. I will be running SGT/C with a index of 11.90 I hope to be running the stick combo too. Any other input would be appreciated. I live in South Carolina now, all IHRA, should be fun.
