As one racer described it, that track is "beyond nowhere" because you have to drive through the "middle of nowhere" to get there.
Might have something to do with it. Never actually been there myself.

It would be really nice if they dropped that track and moved back the Div7 to Sacramento Raceway
now that the track has been redone, Wishfull thinking ...

If they would quit having it on my sons birthday I would have been there.
It is a great track, great starting line and an owner who welcomes you and is happy to have you there. Bob I wish they would add Sac to the schedule so we could have a few more races really local. I think the point chasers skip it because of the low car count. Counting a low car count race could cost you a world championship. still is a great place to race. |

how about a barometer of 25.87
temperature was only in the 70s for a change head cross at a steady 20 mph but altitude was over 6200 feet at 4100 foot track on the other hand we we are here at the end of nowhere "enjoying" ourselves BTW it seems to me many points chasers are here in stock stevie leo ryan sorenson gillly calvert loge coulter pauley jim durham irving oh and us

I'll vote for putting Sacramento back on the schedule as I have run that race regularly in the past. But PLEASE move it back to the March timeslot that it use to be. A 'cool' summer temp seems to be 100+...

That's not funny . Car counts are down and in some places worse than others. At least they had a place to race.
