Who will be there IHRA div 9 race. If you don't show you will miss out. This place has changed a lot since the last IHRA race 15 years ago.

You are certainly correct about this track being changed. This is probably the one of the nicest tracks in the area. Everything has been changed here. The track, the buildings, sound system, the atmosphere, everything. This track has an indoor concession stand. Track surface is really good. I hate that we are going to miss this. After they announced that they had gotten the event we were really looking forward to it. Blew the motor a couple of weeks ago and having a problem locating another 340 mopar block in this area. You guys have fun.

I'll be there, and I've heard tales of several snowbirds coming down...

They've definitely done a great job with the track! Can't wait to check out the scale house -- that's right, you actually have a drive-thru building with the scales inside! Ground racing surface, longer shutdown with wide sweeping turn, among many other improvements.

But really, I go for the BBQ sandwiches.

I Really hate to miss this race, duty calls in Edmonton. Hope you guys/gals have a big turnout and good race. Track is def. one of The best around with a great atmosphere to boot. And yes, Michaels is not kidding about the scales, they are Indoors!

Does anyone know what the schedule is at Dunn-Benson? Is it a double event?

Note that there is a qualifying run available Friday night, in addition to the Saturday runs. Looks like Top Stock on Friday night, too!

Talked to Bill Plage today. His clan of Caraway, Bugai and Truell will be there. I Think Clay Bullard and Barry Dunn will be there with those fast Hickmans Performance powered Super Stockers. They said something about being 1 and 2 in the qualifying, I hope the Young camp is listening.
To any of the Hot Rod racers be ready The LEGEND will be.

I am extemely sad to say I won't be racing at Dunn Benson, however, we will be there w/ Logan's jr. dragster. I started bracket racing there years ago and was really looking forward to racing on the track since all the new changes. We've got big time engine problems in the vette and the future doesn't look very bright...but that's racin'!
